This Haori jacket has a modern silhouette based on the shape of Noragi.

[Material]
Because it uses genuine indigo thread dyed with skeins, it is characterized by slight vertical unevenness. The double weave on the dobby loom gives it thickness and elasticity without being heavy. By drying the yarn without using high temperatures during the dyeing process and the finishing process of weaving the fabric, we are able to create a soft and fluffy texture. This is an original sashiko material that has been made with comfort in mind and has been a standard for many years.

[Details/Silhouette]
The slightly wide cuffs are a characteristic of haori, which are worn for various tasks and jobs. It is decorated with buttons so that it can be matched in the front, making it suitable for modern life. With the image of a firefighter hanten, we used Sakiori fabric to create a line from the back to the cuffs. The deep blue of the indigo-dyed Sashiko fabric is contrasted with the special blue of Sakiori.
