We use sashiko fabric, which is mainly used for gi. This is the most representative fabric in the sashiko series developed by BLUE BLUE JAPAN. It features a beautiful silhouette that is sturdy yet soft. Using a traditional dyeing method called kasezome, the thread is dyed with real indigo and carefully woven.Woven Pure Indigo It's sashiko. Relaxed silhouette. The slightly curved collar gives this kimono a somewhat modern look, unlike kimonos that are tailored in a straight line. The large pocket has been placed at a slightly lower position for ease of use. The color of indigo changes over time, matching the lifestyle of the person wearing it. The hand-embroidered white thread on the back is called a ``sekomamori,'' and it has had the meaning of a talisman to protect oneself since ancient times.
