This is a special collection created to commemorate the JAPAN DORAKU event.
JAPAN DORAKU is a project founded with the theme of ``creating a bright future through the circulation of people and money'' and focusing on the inheritance of Japanese tradition and culture, with social activities as its first priority.
SEILIN & Cosympathized with this project and created a special collection with original brands.

[Design]
This gathered cotton twill shirt is dyed using an indigo dyeing technique called natural lye fermentation.

[Material]
Made of cotton twill fabric with a subtle brushed feel. We chose a fabric that is a little thicker than regular shirt fabric, and we also considered durability when wearing it for a long time and enjoying the color change.
Indigo dyed using natural lye fermentation Kenmoto indigo dyeing. We use the indigo from Shirahanakogami powder, which won the first-class title of ``Zuiichi'' at the Aidaichi, an indigo dyeing competition held during the Edo period.
We are particular about the materials we use to protect 100% natural products. Indigo dyeing is born from the blessings of nature, and in order to bring out the power of the raw materials, we use only limited ingredients such as plum, lye, slaked lime, Japanese sake, and wheat gluten, and perform all processes using traditional methods.
Even if you want to dye a light color, dye it over and over again, gradually building up the color.
The depth of the blue changes slightly depending on the quality of the indigo that year and the condition of the indigo on the day it is dyed, making it a one-of-a-kind item.

[Details/Silhouette]
The motif is an old French gathered shirt.
Many of the older ones have a long length, but we have shortened the length to show the width of the body, creating a well-balanced silhouette. The fabric is a little thicker than a regular shirt, but the gathers in the back make it roomy and easy to wear.
The beautiful blue of real indigo dyeing adds color to a simple shirt.

BLUE BLUE
"BLUE BLUE" started with denim shirts produced in the early 1980s. We pursue the ultimate in simple, basic daily wear, focusing on denim and indigo blue, which change beautifully the more you wear them.
