[Material]
Sashiko fabric has a fluffy and thick double weave structure that is thick yet soft. The expanded fibers contain air and retain heat. For the sashiko part, three threads of 16th thread are twisted to make them thicker, then two threads are tied together and woven. By using different counts of warp and weft threads with different thicknesses, it creates an uneven look unique to sashiko. Originally, this fabric was brightly colored, and after it was made into a product, each item was dyed jet black by hand by a craftsman.

[Details/Silhouette]
The key points are the collar that goes up along the neck and the single button. The slightly loose shoulders and silhouette that widens towards the hem make it comfortable to wear.
